I'm more than a little bit chuffed to not only have a brand new DIYtrotter Session to share —it's been almost been a full 5 months since Wes Tirey recorded 008— but to have that new session be from the guy responsible for one of the best albums I've heard this year. If you've spent any time around me in real life or the internet in the last couple months, there's a good chance you've heard me mention how great Doc Feldman & The LD50's album 'Sundowning At The Station' is.

So through the combination of my very regular intake of 'Sundowning At The Station' + the fact that I happen to be Facebook friends with the bearded guy behind that album, a new & lovely DIYtrotter Session was born. A session that features two tracks from one of my favourite albums of the year ('Ready' and 'Cold Tile Floor'), two brand new Doc Feldman gems ('Through the Narrows' and 'San Antonio Missions'), a haunting cover of Jason Molina's ‘The Old Horizon', and an unexpected penny whistle over top a mini djembe drum beat track called 'Sasquatch Belly Laugh'.
